DAY 01
Arrival in Florence
Arrive in Florence and be transferred to your estate villa in Tuscany. Later that evening, we'll enjoy a coursed dinner with wine pairings at Trattoria La Casalinga
DAY 02
Florence City Center
After breakfast at the villa, we will begin the day with the Fat Pastor guiding you through Mercato Centrale, the premier marketplace of downtown Florence. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells while picking out food for the evenings cooking class and dinner with the Fat Pastor. After lunch on your own in the market, we'll take a tour of the Duomo, including a hike to the very top of the dome!
DAY 03
Chianti Safari
After breakfast, we'll be taking a 4x4 Chianti adventure tour with stops at wineries for cheese & wine pairings along with a light lunch. In the evening, we'll share dinner again together at the villa, courtesy of the Fat Pastor.
DAY 04
Pizza & Gelato Class
After a late morning brunch at the villa with some relaxation and down time, we'll make our way into Tuscany once again for a pizza & gelato cooking class that will carry us through dinner.
DAY 05
Hot Air Balloon & Fiat Tour
This morning will begin early with a sunrise hot air balloon flight over Tuscany, followed by breakfast with our pilot. After that, you'll get in the drivers seat in your own Fiat 500 for a guided tour through Tuscany with a 15th Century Wine Estate Tour & Tastings. Each couple will need to decide who gets to drive ;)
That evening, we'll enjoy a delicious Italian Seafood Dinner at Burro & Acciughe w/ wine pairings.
DAY 06
Osteria Guccia Da Massimo Bottura
After a little relaxation from the long day before, we'll make our way back to the city center of Florence, where you'll have some free time on your own. Enjoy, if you will, a suggested lunch at All'Antico Vinaio, now a world famous sandwich shop, spreading even to places like New York and California courtesy of Chef and restaurateur Joe Bastianich. This humble yet delicious sandwich shop is also a very special place for The Fat Pastor, a cornerstone of his journey on MasterChef.
That evening, we'll have our capstone dining experience at Michelin Starred Osteria Gucci Da Massimo Bottura. While we may or may not see the world renowned chef himself, we can count on a delicious meal from his hand picked chefs Karime Lopez & Takahiko Kondo.
DAY 07
Time To Say Arrivederci!
After breakfast at the villa, we will say our goodbyes and make our way back to the Florence International Airport. Until next time!
