Patacon Carne
Slow cooked beef, deep fried plantain, sauteed veggies, cilantro cream, red cabbage, avocado... Venezuelan street food at it's best! This meal will take you a little time to prepare, but I promise it's worth it. If you've got a crockpot, and I'm sure you do, you'll be enjoying these fresh flavors in no time!

Soy Glazed Salmon w/ Pink Rice
Butter and soy sauce are incredible friends. If you've never introduced them to each other in your kitchen, then you need to stop messing around, and go try this recipe. You won't be sorry, I promise. Grab some fresh farm-raised salmon, and get ready to pan-sear that sucker. I used pink Madagascar rice, but really any rice will do!
Pan Seared Salmon w/ Radish & Asparagus
It took me awhile to fall in love with salmon, but what I discovered is that most of the time it is overcooked - which turns it fishy real quick, and you lose the beauty of the fish itself. Not so here. In this simple dish, the salmon is the star and everything else shines the light on what it really SHOULD taste like.
Southern Italian Polenta Lasagna
With the trend of Gluten free meals - which I realize is a necessity for many - you end up feeling like you lose out on some serious comfort food. Lasagna is a good example. But this recipe is not an answer to the need for gluten-free - it's a beautiful, hearty regional dish that stands on its own two feet. While also being GF ;)
